​The Mental Health and Wellbeing in Primary Care Services resource has been developed to support staff working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within a Mental Health and Wellbeing in Primary Care Service. It is intended to help all staff contribute to the link worker function within the Services, by providing a directory of additional sources of help and support, that people can be connected in with and signposted to, to compliment the support, assessment and treatment they will receive

Suicide Bereavement Support Service - Argyll and Bute pilot
Scotland’s National Suicide Prevention Leadership Group (NSPLG) have launched a pilot service to provide practical and emotional support to families who have lost a loved one to suicide. Penumbra and Support in Mind Scotland, two of Scotland’s leading mental health charities, are working in partnership to deliver the services across two health board areas, NHS Ayrshire & Arran and NHS Highland which includes the Argyll and Bute area

Scottish Recovery Network recovery cafe toolkit
The Scottish Recovery Network's Recovery Conversation Café toolkit was  officially launched  by the Minister for Mental Wellbeing and Social Care, Kevin Stewart MSP.  This toolkit supports organisations to run their own recovery conversation café. It help to engage with people in a meaningful way to find out what is important to them. The toolkit can be used and adapted to suit each organisations needs

Carers Trust Scotland have published a new report on the experience of unpaid carers and carer support workers during COVID-19.  The research makes recommendations and suggestions to support carer service support workers as they move out of the crisis phase of the pandemic.

Christie Commission 10 years on: achieving the vision today
This ALLIANCE Thinkpiece considers the extent to which the Christie Commission recommendations have been realised in health and social care.  While some concrete action has been taken to respond to the Christie Commission, there is more work to be done, not least to tackle persistent inequality and ensure greater involvement of people and communities in decision making, as well as fully realising the ambition of health and social care integration, and to ensure sustainable, secure third sector funding

The code of practice has been refreshed to ensure Adult Support and Protection guidance takes account of policy and practice developments since the Act was introduced in 2007, bringing the guidance up to date with current legislation and relevant changes in policy and legislation.

Scottish Mental Health Law Review publishes third interim report
The Scottish Mental Health Law Review has published its third interim report.  The report outlines some of the progress made by the review team, shares its understanding of the purpose and principles of the three pieces of mental health law being reviewed, and outlines suggestions as to how the purpose and principles of mental health law might look with specific regard to the United Nations Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
The report also refers to the Independent Review of Adult Social Care in Scotland.

The Scottish Rural Parliament 2021
The 2021 Virtual Scottish Rural Parliament Sessions Reports, Recommendations & Recordings have been published.  Nearly 100 organisations were involved in session curation and delivery and over 500 delegates attended the 15 sessions in March 2021 to share their stories and discuss rural and island living.

Social Renewal Advisory Board: Scottish Government Response
This is the Scottish Government’s initial response to the Social Renewal Advisory Board’s Report “If not now, when?”. ​This report analyses National Performance Framework indicators from the perspective of disability. It does this by comparing the outcomes and experiences of disabled and non-disabled people. This report also provides some commentary on how COVID-19 has affected disabled people.
