You may already have seen on other pages in this website that TSIs are funded by Scottish Government to be your intermediary, your interface to influencing national policy.
TSIs exist to be a central source of knowledge about the Third Sector locally. TSIs get involved with local and national policy and how it might affect local third sector organisations, communities and citizens, and how the third sector can contribute to those agendas. In addition, we ensure a strong third sector voice at a strategic level within local and national planning structures and provide leadership, vision and coordination to the local third sector to better respond to local priorities, including through partnership and collaboration.
We cannot do this without your input. We want to understand your challenges so that we take those forward to forge change at the highest levels.
Engagement In this section of the website we focus on what we do with the sector. We will show engagement by Thematic Group to make it easier to navigate.
Empowerment This section is all the things we are involved in that influence the sector. There are surveys and consultations that we involve you in. There are letters that have been written to Scottish Government that represent the interests of the third sector as a whole. This section is designed to allow you opportunities to have your say.
Where Argyll and Bute TSI has made a formal response you will find them under TSI consultation responses.

Working Relationships Argyll TSI has working relationships with statutory bodies and other national intermediaries (or interfaces). Together our aim is represent the interests of the Third Sector consistently and strongly.
Our strength is the TSI Network in Scotland. There are 32 TSIs, covering all local authorities in the country. We work together, share best practice, swap knowledge and information freely and we lobby Scottish Government on a range of issues impacting the Third Sector. We work to represent the interests of the Third Sector strongly and consistently.
