Volant Trust Covid-19 Response Fund
Description: The Volant Trust has opened its Covid-19 Response Fund. The Trust is accepting applications from registered charities, community interest companies, community organisations or social enterprises in the UK and internationally that demonstrate a strong focus on alleviating social deprivation and helping vulnerable groups who have been particularly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Funding is available to support running and core costs as well as for medical equipment and the production or distribution of PPE will also be considered. Criteria: Registered charities, CICs, community organisations and social enterprises may apply. Description: Grants are available to relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, or have been affected by, breast cancer by providing, or assisting in the provision of, information, care, or emotional, practical and financial support. Also to advance public education in the understanding of breast cancer and its early detection and treatment. Criteria: Any charity working in the field of breast cancer may apply. Minimum: £0 Maximum: £5,000 Closing date: 26th June 2021 Foundation Scotland Response, Recovery and Resilience Fund
Description: The Fund supports organisations in Scotland which are helping vulnerable people impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The Fund moves into its Resilience phase on 1st December when applications fitting that criteria will be prioritised. Criteria: Grants are available to help charities and constituted community groups with an annual income of up to £250,000 to continue their operations in the ‘new normal.’ Minimum: £1,000 Maximum: £5,000 Closing date: Applications can be submitted at any time though funds are limited. |
Funding to Alleviate Mental Health Issues
Description: The Gamesys Foundation is a newly formed charity, set up by the Gamesys Group to alleviate mental health issues. Funding is available to support individuals suffering from mental health issues, as well as research in the mental health field. Criteria: Charities and not-for-profit organisations with an income of more than £50,000 who can demonstrate an impact with regard to mental health, support and treatment are encouraged to apply. Description: ROSA funds grassroots women’s organisations through its COVID-19 Response Fund. Criteria: Proposals welcomed from women’s organisations that address the critical needs of women and girls in less economically resilient towns, cities and rural areas within the UK. National Lottery Community Fund – Young Start
Description: Young Start helps young people across Scotland become more confident, so they can realise their own potential. Funding is available to help children and young people have better physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, have better connections with the wider community and get access to new skills and training opportunities which will help them get a new job or start a business. The Edward Gostling Foundation
Description: Funding is available to enhance the quality of life for people in need, specifically the mentally and physically disabled. Description: The Paristamen CIO’s 2021 large grant programme is now open for applications. This year, the theme of the grant will be “Christian Hope in a Post-Covid Scotland.” Christian charities and churches across Scotland can bid for a one-off grant of £20,000 to support an innovative project that will enable individuals, families and communities to receive emotional and spiritual support during the Coronavirus pandemic, and to spread the notion of hope within the context of the Christian faith. Criteria: Christian charities and Scottish churches can bid for a one-off grant of £20,000. The programme may be of particular interest to Christian charities with expertise in emotional, spiritual and/or mental health work. Funding could be used to cover running costs including staff costs and major PR initiatives to reach participants. Description: The Delivering Equally Safe Fund has re-opened to applications to support organisations and projects that broaden access to support survivors, with a focus on prevention and early intervention. Frontline organisations working to tackle violence against women and girls in Scotland can apply for a share of up to £13 million to help them develop and further their work over the next three years. Criteria: Priority will be given to organisations supporting disabled survivors and working with those in remote or island communities. True Colours Trust
Description: The Trust supports disabled children and their families with grants available for a range of specialised equipment including hydrotherapy pools, multi-sensory rooms and mini-buses. Criteria: Charities that support disabled children and their families can apply. Minimum: £0 Maximum: £10,000 Closing date: Applications can be submitted at any time Argyll and Bute HSCP Capacity Growth Grants
Description: Applications are open to organisations who currently deliver services/support to adults over the age of 18 living in Argyll and Bute. These grants are to lay the foundation for Community Link Working (CLW) across the area in the coming year, by increasing organisations’ capacity to be in a position to support the future CLW service. These will be services which also benefit the wider community in line with CLW outcomes. Criteria: This funding stream is targeted at adults, but bids that include young people under 18 as part of the overall service/project will be considered. Bids must meet one of the following priorities: reducing loneliness and isolation, improving health in areas of deprivation, improving health in remote and island communities or supporting those living with long-term conditions and/or frailty. Partnership bids will be welcome. Minimum: £0 Maximum: £10,000; £15,000 if covering more than one locality Closing date: 24th January 2021 |
