Outdoor Nurseries Social Enterprise Fund

Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs 2019
Applicants can be businesses operated by and/or for the benefit of disabled people; or employers whose workforce is made up of significant numbers of disabled people. The overall winner will receive a top prize of £30,000. There are four shortlist prizes of £10,000 and four longlist prizes of £5,000 as well as a discretionary Judges prize of £10,000 to be distributed to one or more applicants at the Judges’ discretion.

NEW FUND AVAILABLE TO SOCIAL ENTERPRISES (SCOTLAND)
A new fund for Scotland has been announced that will enable social enterprises, charities and voluntary groups to deliver community projects that make a social impact while also contributing to the wider economy. Organisations will be able to access affordable and flexible loans of between £100,000 and £1.7 million from this £17million Fund. The loans take the form of ‘Patient Capital’, a repayable form of investment that can be used for a range of purposes including expansion, replication of work or capital projects. The Fund is now open and interested organisations are invited to get in touch with Social Investment Scotland to find out how to apply to the Scottish Social Growth Fund (SSGF).Social Investment Scotland (SIS) will also be able offer expert social impact advice as part of the package.
