Third Sector Net Zero report
Social Enterprise Network Scotland (SenScot) and the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) have combined to create the Third Sector Net Zero report. The report is encouraging non-environmental charities and social enterprises to take action on climate change in the run up to COP26.

Children’s Climate Risk Index
UNICEF has released the new report ‘The Climate Crisis is a Child Rights Crisis: Introducing the Children’s Climate Risk Index’. This is the first comprehensive analysis of climate risk from a child’s perspective and ranks countries based on children’s exposure to climate and environmental shocks. The report finds that nearly every child on earth is already exposed to at least one climate and environmental hazard.

The Scottish Rural Parliament 2021
The 2021 Virtual Scottish Rural Parliament Sessions Reports, Recommendations & Recordings have been published. Nearly 100 organisations were involved in session curation and delivery and over 500 delegates attended the 15 sessions in March 2021 to share their stories and discuss rural and island living.

Local Place Plans 'How to' Guide
Scottish Government have now published a draft ‘How to’ Guide on local place plans. This Guide is designed to help communities decide whether a Local Place Plan is the right thing for them, and how to go about preparing one. Scottish Government intend to develop this further over the coming months and will publish an online final version when the LPP regulations come into force, planned for the end of the year. |
