POP Shop Enterprises CIC is seeking a Project Coordinator to help deliver Convalescent Coast, an exciting new community heritage project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Working across heritage, community development and social enterprise, you’ll help bring Dunoon’s Victorian heritage to life through community research, oral histories, heritage walks, interpretation, digital content and creative activities.

This is a varied, hands-on role working with local people, volunteers, schools, community partners and researchers to coordinate activities, events and communications while helping create a lasting legacy for Dunoon’s heritage.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Project Directors and support activities including:

• Community engagement and partnership working
• Heritage research and oral history projects
• Volunteer coordination
• Heritage talks, walks and workshops
• Digital content and project communications
• Project administration, monitoring and reporting

The role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who enjoys working with communities and has an interest in heritage, local history or place-based projects. Training and support will be provided where required.

Hours

• Part-time (3 days per week / 0.6 FTE)
• Flexible working arrangements considered
• Occasional evening and weekend work required
