Cowal on the Catwalk!

Tomorrow sees Dunoon Community Development Trust‘s much anticipated Second Hand September Community-led Fashion Show in the Queen’s Hall!

Local teams have been scouring Dunoon’s charity shops, putting together winning outfits, ready to demonstrate the alchemy that is combining pre-loved items to create fun, unique and eye catching style.

The Third Sector Interface is proud to support the event and our Support Advisor for Cowal and Bute, Janis Marshall Reilly will be MCing the event, ready to encourage the models to strut their stuff on the catwalk!

Second Hand September is an Oxfam initiative, encouraging us to “take a stance against the impact of fast fashion by shopping second hand” and to dress for the world we want to see.

Be there for a 6pm start to admire the results of the Second Hand September £20 challenge, browse stalls and discover information about the circular economy. Light refreshments, which will also be on sale.

No booking is required, just come along. Suggested donation: £2 adults, kids under 16 free. Pay on the door.
