Helensburgh & Lomond Carers SCIO is looking for a highly motivated individual, with an understanding of carers’ issues, particularly fuel and energy matters, debts and benefits, to fill this vacancy.

The role will include promoting to individuals and groups: –

  • Income maximisation
  • Benefits availability and entitlement
  • Energy debt advice
  • Financial knowledge and resilience
  • Awareness of Services and entitlements
  • CO awareness

Applicants should be able to organise and prioritise their own workload and have good interpersonal/listening skills to allow effective communicatation.

The successful applicant will require to be registered as a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme, which will involve a Scotland Disclosure check.
