An exciting new opportunity has arisen within Bute Advice Centre, Rothesay, Isle of Bute. We are seeking a manager for this highly successful organisation and are offering the right candidate a truly rewarding role on the beautiful Island of Bute.

Salary

£35,000 – £38,480 FTE, depending on qualifications, skills and experience

Hours of Work

25 hours per week (negotiable)

Qualifications, Qualities & Skills

You will have proven ability to seek and obtain funding for the continuance of this vital service and be confident with policies and procedures, staff welfare and development.

Strong organisational skills, excellent time management and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with experience of presenting and networking abilities.

A sound grasp of IT is essential.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Confident to liaise with our funders, seek new opportunities and manage project delivery

Must have the ability to achieve and deliver goals/targets under pressure

Interest in the Welfare Benefits System and Money Advice

A car and clean license are required; travel expenses are reimbursed.

Bute Advice Centre is an independent charity providing advice and assistance, mainly relating to Welfare rights and Money Advice, staff are primarily based in Bute while supporting projects across Argyll. We are looking for an enthusiastic Manager with a proven track record of managing staff and securing funding. The successful candidate will manage a team offering a high standard of advice and assistance to members of the public.
