The Dochas Carers Centre charity provides support to unpaid carers throughout Mid Argyll, Kintyre, Islay, Jura and Gigha.

Position Available: Senior Support Worker for Islay and Jura

• Salary: £16.58 per hour
• Hours: 30 hours per week

We are seeking a flexible and experienced individual capable of working remotely with regular visits to Islay, OR  someone living on either Islay or Jura.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting unpaid carers and collaborating with them to create adult carer support plans

Providing information and advice.

Organising support groups.

Overseeing a small team of Time for Me workers.
