Here are the welcoming warm spaces located in each of the 4 administrative areas in Argyll and Bute. Click the buttons below to go directly to the ward you require.

Helensburgh and Lomond
Fun First
Fun First sessions provide warm spaces for under 5’s and their carers.
Mondays: Helensburgh Library 0-5 yrs 10am and Rosneath St Modan’s Church Hall 9:45am
Tuesdays: Cardross Library 0-5yrs 1:30pm and 10am outdoor sessions in Hermitage Park (bookable on Ticket source).
Wednesdays: Gibson Hall Garelochhead 10:00 am 0-5 yrs.
Thursdays: Fitness and Fun Victoria Halls 10am 18months-5 yrs.
Fridays: Helensburgh Community Hub 9:45am 0-5 yrs.
Wednesday mornings fortnightly: Fun First Friends at Drumfork Community Centre (held in the family room). Children can play in the soft play area, tea and coffee for adults. Plenty of time to chat and listen to local speakers from organisations/ support groups. Open to new families to Helensburgh, expectant parents, grandparents and so on.
Children to be accompanied by an adult, parents, carers, grandparents, child minders all welcome.
Grey Matters Active Ageing

Grey Matters Active Ageing are keeping the older community in Helensburgh and Lomond warm and active this winter.
They have a ‘Warm Welcome’ coffee morning on a Tuesday at 10.30 and a Friday evening Takeaway meal both offering warm drinks/food and even warmer company.
They also have over 10 interest groups to tap into during the week and are adding to them all the time including more evening and weekend activities too.

Church service on Wednesdays, 12.30pm – a short service (30-40 minutes) followed by soup, tea/coffee. Free, cash donations welcome.
Anytime the building is open, there is a space (Meeting Place) with help yourself tea/coffee/hot water (free, cash donation welcome).
No under 18’s without a responsible adult.
Cardross Library

Expect a friendly welcome and warm space. There is free Wi-Fi access and People’s Network computers available for use. Study tables are also available. Join in the jigsaw swap or pull up a chair at the activity table. Activities and games are suitable for ages 0-100+.

3 Villages Community Hall

The Craft and Chat Group continues to run every Wednesday afternoon from 1pm until 2.30pm. It runs all year round, with the exception of the first two weeks in January when they generally take a break. Blairmore Village Hall hosts a weekly “Drop in” on a Thursday morning. Called the Shore Hub, it is a warm and welcoming space for folk to go in for as long as they wish to. There is no charge, and if demand were sufficient, they could extend it to include a soup-and-sandwich lunch.

Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, as a warm space for 16- to 25-year-olds.
Lunch will be served at 1.00pm on Mon, Wed and Thursday.
Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate will be available daily, and an activity programme will run, including Arts and crafts, pottery, sewing, cooking, and Movie afternoons. There is a computer and free internet access, and a pool table.
