Hello

To mark selfcare week, weaving networks in MAKI are offering a free online workshop exploring and sharing ideas to practice self and collective care. We remain in very challenging times which seems to have been going on since lockdown and let’s face it, things were challenging before then too.

It is understandable that we can begin to feel overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted, finding our energy levels have dipped, especially as we go into winter,

This fun, relaxing one hour session does not replace professional advice, but may offer some ideas which are helpful to boost your sense of wellbeing and capacity to hold on. So often we hear that is what people feel they need just now, something to hold on to, that helps find some joy today while hoping and working towards a better tomorrow.

The session will be on zoom, it is a chance to relax and make some time for you.  You will be invited to make some comments in the chat if you want, but there will be no break out rooms or activities as such, you can keep your camera off if you want, there is no pressure to be on camera or do anything. This is an hour for you to sit back, relax,  learn about and experience some ideas to support selfcare which do not feel like another chore.

To register just email [email protected] and you will receive the zoom link.

I really hope you can make it along, even if you can only stay 15minutes, 30minutes, you are worth so much more and you matter too

Kind regards

Hilda
