Suicide Prevention in rural areas webinar

This webinar will introduce Scotland’s Suicide Prevention Strategy: Creating Hope Together, that is delivered by a collective of National public and third sector organisations supported by a network of Suicide Prevention Leads in local areas. It will highlight how you can connect to this network, and showcase some examples of good work taking place specifically designed to support rural communities.

Haylis Smith, the National Delivery Lead for Suicide Prevention will share how you can connect to this network and provide some examples of exciting initiatives, including the Time Space Compassion approach, the What if…campaign and the work to support help seeking.
Josie Barclay will speak about the work of RSABI on providing financial, practical and emotional support to people involved in the Scottish agricultural industry, including farmers, crofters, farm workers and their dependents. She will share how they work alongside other organisations specialising in suicide prevention.
