National Wellness Month

Every day is a day to think about our wellbeing, however, National wellbeing month offers a chance to reflect on some ideas which may be if interest to bring into everyday. Hope you find at least one thing which is helpful.
31 days of wellbeing ideas
Day 1 Reach out
Send a message, text, or voice note to someone you care about and let them know you’re thinking of them.
Day 2 Move your body
Take a 10–20 minute walk or wheel, stretch, dance, or do a short movement break.
Day 3 Add colour to your plate
Include one extra portion of fruit or vegetables in your day.
Day 4 Pause and unwind
Spend 15 minutes doing something restful: reading, music, knitting, tea, or just sitting quietly, find something that works for you.
Day 5 Practice self-kindness
Notice one thing you’ve done well recently and say something encouraging to yourself. Remind yourself you are amazing, oh yes you are!
Day 6 Connect locally
Have a conversation with a neighbour, colleague, someone in the shops, or someone in your community. A wee hello even if only talking about the weather helps us to connect with others.
Day 7 Try a simple routine
Create a small morning or evening routine that supports your wellbeing. It could be a stretch, or start the day with a glass of water, or a wee walk, whatever works for you and promotes feelings of wellness.
Day 8 Get outdoors
Spend a little time outside, even if it’s just standing at the door, sitting in a garden, or walking to the corner shop. Especially if you work from home when days can pass without ever leaving the house!
Day 9 Drink enough water
Keep a bottle or glass nearby and aim to sip regularly through the day.
