Adults Health and Wellbeing Network
Terms of Reference
Purpose
Argyll and Bute Adult Health and Wellbeing Network (AHWN) seeks to encourage and enable communication, participation and co-operation between and across Third Sector organisations, local and national statutory partners to help improve the lives of all adults by providing a strong and co-ordinated voice.
The network forms a link between local organisations and strategic groups to enhance the role of the Third Sector in the planning and delivery of adult services.
Aims
Argyll and Bute Adult Health and Wellbeing Network aims to:
- act as a two way link between strategic groups such as the Integrated Joint Board, the Strategic Planning Group and the Strategic Commissioning Group and local groups and organisations.
- become the ‘go to’ network for statutory partners to engage with on matters relating to adults in Argyll and Bute.
- strengthen the voice of the Third Sector in Argyll and Bute.
- share good practice, encourage collaboration and provide networking opportunities for Third Sector organisations in Argyll and Bute.
- improve communication amongst Third Sector organisations.
Membership
AHWN membership is open to any third sector organisation with an interest in adult service within Argyll and Bute.
Representatives of relevant public and private sector organisations are welcome to attend where their remit is adult services
