We’re Championing Two Powerful Resources for Scotland’s Third Sector

We’re excited to share two invaluable platforms now featured on our website to support local charities, voluntary groups, and social enterprises.

🔹 The Governance Wiki
Developed by Midlothian Community Action (MCA) with input from TSIs and sector experts, the Governance Wiki offers clear, accessible guidance on board responsibilities, compliance, risk, and more. It’s perfect for smaller or volunteer-led organisations that don’t always have access to governance training.

🧭 You can now access the Governance Wiki via our Toolkit > Managing Your Organisation > Governance section under the Support menu.

🔹 The Volunteer Wiki
Created by Volunteer Edinburgh, the Volunteer Wiki is packed with practical tools and good practice guidance for volunteer-involving organisations. Whether you’re new to volunteer coordination or an experienced manager, there’s something for everyone.

🙋‍♀️ You’ll find the Volunteer Wiki on our Volunteering page under the Community menu.

We’re proud to promote both resources as part of our commitment to strengthening the capacity of Argyll and Bute’s third sector. These platforms were created with sector input, and we encourage all local organisations to explore and share them widely.
